Processing Magazine 2012 Breakthrough Product (12/10/2012)
Processing Magazine named the Turbomite Deblinding System from Cleveland Vibrator Company and HK Technologies a 2012 Breakthrough Product of the Year.
Shown to significantly reduce or eliminate screen blinding to increase screen life and production rates, the Turbomite Deblinding System is a great alternative to ball deck systems. The Turbomite Deblinding System utilizes high-frequency vibration to put energy into the screen deck, rather than direct impact of rubber balls, which might deform and wear the screen.
"We are honored that Processing Magazine saw the high value related to our seemingly simple solution and selected our system," says HK Product Designer, Lee Hochadel. David Strong, Product Engineer at Cleveland Vibrator, stated "The light weight and air efficient design of the CVT-P Turbomite vibrator used in the system was well suited for the energy output demanded by the system.
