The Cost of reconditioning generally runs approximately 50-60% of the cost of a new unit and is covered by the same warranty as the new unit.
CVC maintains its own repair department, staffed by experienced and qualified personnel. Both the air and electric repair departments provide low cost, quality reconditioning of all used and worn vibrators in our line. With over 80 years of experience, we can also evaluate, repair or replace competitor vibrators. Units can be sent for a free evaluation.
Repair work to air units usually consists of dismantling, cleaning and reboring the body to be fitted with an over-sized piston. Springs, gaskets, through bolts and mounting heads are inspected and replaced when necessary.
Upon request, a cost estimate can be furnished in writing before repair work begins. Special note: we can "super grey" coat any air piston vibrator, new or used, competitor's or CVC's, for non-lubricated applications. Coating is very economically priced. Reconditioning of electric units involves rewinding, dipping, and baking the stator, re-insulating the windings, and replacing bearings, power cord, leads, power terminal block, etc., if necessary. As with the air units, the cost runs approximately 50-60% of the cost of a new unit and is also covered by the same warranty.
