General Description
The Cleveland Vibrator Company offers a wide range of light, medium, and heavy-duty vibratory tables and vibratory packers for settling and compacting bulk materials.

A production line system incorporating a vibratory table can provide:

+ Fully automated or semi-automated fill stations.
+ Accurate and true container weights.
+ More containers filled, weighed and closed in less time than with manual installations.
+ Minimum time to reach maximum compaction usually within 10 to 30 seconds.

Vibratory compaction tables and packers produce a dense and uniform distribution of product in a container. Vibratory Tables are powered by pneumatic vibrators (reciprocating air cushioned air piston vibrators), electromagnetic vibrators, or rotary electric vibrators. These drives all produce a smooth, uniform, linear motion that is fully adjustable for settling and compacting material, providing compaction benefits.

Compaction Benefits
Container Costs:
The average bulk material will compact about 20% from its aerated state. Therefore, aerated materials filled into five containers can be compacted into four containers. Full capacity in each container will thereby reduce the number of containers needed and use less storage space.

Loss & Spillage:
Most material if stored or shipped in their aerated or unsettled state will eventually compact, due to the natural de-aeration or vibration in transit. The result is dead space in the container. Elimination of this dead space through vibratory compaction prevents the container from collapsing or splitting, which could result in product loss or contamination.

Freight Costs:
When containerized materials are shipped on a "truckload" or cubic foot basis, vibratory compaction provides full utilization of container capacity. Hence, you get more product shipped for the same amount of money your customer is now paying. The results are savings in freight costs, warehouse space, and storage costs.

Construction Features
The Cleveland Vibrator Company's tables and packers are available in a variety of deck sizes and table heights. Units can be furnished with liners or special coated decks, such as neoprene, UHMW, abrasive-resistant steel plate, and anti-stick surfaces. The units are constructed either of mild steel or stainless steel, according to your requirements.

Controls
Air Powered Tables include a quick-acting valve, air line filter, pressure regulator gauge, lubricator, and a five-foot long air hose with pipe fittings.

Electromechanical Powered Tables are equipped with a wall mounted control box with on/off push button, overload protection with the availability of dynamic brakes. An optional variable frequency controller is also available.

Electromagnetic-powered Joggers are equipped with a VIC controller which allows adjustment of the stroke (intensity). Joggers can also be equipped with a VAF controller, allowing for the additional adjustment of the frequency. Consult sales for more information.
